GI Health offers a Discount Endoscopy service for patients with financial hardship (Health Care Card holders or Pensioners).
The service operates out of theatres at St John of God, Berwick and The Valley Private Hospital, Mulgrave. The procedure is performed by one of the GI Health gastroenterologists, in fully accredited theatres, with specialist anaesthetists.
The rates for Discounted Endoscopy as at January 2016 are :
Pensioner or HCC holder
Single Procedure (Gastroscopy OR Colonoscopy) $80
Double procedure (Gastroscopy AND Colonoscopy) $120
Financial Hardship (NO private health insurance)
Single Procedure (Gastroscopy OR Colonoscopy) $150
Double procedure (Gastroscopy AND Colonoscopy) $ 200
